PC Wire Spiral Ribbed
PC Wire (also referred to as Prestressed Concrete Steel Wire) is high tensile, low relaxation steel wire made from high-carbon steel and widely used for prestressed and post-tensioning technology in various shapes of PC structures. It has high tensile strength and low relaxation, more bonding stress between wire and concrete and a stable modulus of elasticity.
Its properties are summarised below.
Product Name | PC Wire (Huayongxin Prestressed Concrete Steel Wire) |
Type of Surface | Spiral ribbed, indented, plain |
Materials | SWRH82B |
Diameter | 4.0mm, 4.8mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm, 7.0mm, 8.0mm, 9.0mm |
Surface treatment | Uncoated prestressed steel wire, prestressed epoxy coated steel wire and galvanized prestressed steel wire. |
Tensile Strength | 1470Mpa-1770Mpa |
Relaxation (%) | ≤2.5 |
Elongation (%) | ≥3.5 |
Standard | ASTM A 421, GB/T5223, BS5896, JISG3536, and required standard. |
Packing | Volume (about 700-1300kg/ volume). Each roll is bound with steel tape at 8 places and fully wrapped with rust-proof plastic and PP braided sheet. |
PC Wire Application | PC Wire is characterised by high tensile strength and low relaxation. It is widely used in the production of prestressed spun concrete poles, PHC Piles, in construction of large scale railroads, highway bridges, building trusses, overhead crane beams, industrial and civil prefabricated concrete slabs, wall board, power stations, etc. |
